In 1985 I was "born again." - not exactly in the traditional Christian sense, but it was an experience with Jesus. I went through several years of being involved in fundamentalist Christianity and church hype. But, one of the things I always did was seek the Source, seek the spiritual personally. And I discovered that what the majority of churches were teaching and what Jesus taught were on opposite ends of the spectrum!
I didn't like the idea of some man telling me what to do all the time. It was like living by a set of strict rules that actually blocked out spiritual access. I went to the woods, I spent lots of time in nature, I explored my Native American background, and sought a seep relationship with the spirit realm.
I became convinced that Jesus was a Pagan, albeit a Monotheistic Pagan. He was "pagan" in the sense of being a country dweller who loved nature, who used natural healing techniques, who interacted with natural forces and spirits, and who harmed none - with the exception of the people he whipped who were using the temple to make money. Can't blame him there!
I've been called a Christian Pagan, a Gnostic, and even some things that are not so nice because of these beliefs.
I don't set out to convert anyone and I know most people on a site like this are believers in or worshippers of the Goddess. Cool! Me too, in the form of Sophia, the Holy Spirit, the wisdom of the Deity. More importantly, The Feminine part of God! She's been neglected for so long by people who claim "The Holy Spirit" is in them that I have no problem with those who believe in the Goddess. What I do have problems with is male dominated religion that masquerades in the name of a divine man who had the complete fullness of the devine feminine dwelling within him. (Jn 3:34).
As for the Elves, the Eldar, the Firstborn - there is too much to say in such a brief intro. I began learning of the reality of the Elves almost 9 years ago, and by 2003 I knew they were real by many proofs shown to me. I hope to meet others who are already on the Elven path, or who want to learn more about the true Elves...
